Most of Sunrise Flour Mill’s heritage flours are all milled from our Turkey Red organic wheat berries, except for our whole wheat pastry flour which is made from White Sonora wheat berries. So if you’re looking for wheat berries for flour, these are the ones to buy. We think they are the best wheat berries for bread. Many of our customers also use our organic wheat berries for sprouting. They can also be planted. All our organic wheat berries are organic, heritage and a single-source hard wheat. Because these wheat berries are heritage, they are more nutritious, more flavorful and more digestible than modern hybridized wheat.
