Turkey Red Wheat: A Hard Red Winter Wheat

Milled in a proprietary Unifine high-velocity impact milling system, producing a super-fine, highly nutritious, 100% whole grain, single source flour. Unlike traditional whole wheat flour, this super-fine grind creates loftier baked goods with greater volume than would be expected from a traditional whole wheat flour.

Use for: bread, rolls, pancakes, muffins, and cookies; and in any recipe calling for whole wheat flour.

Note: Many people find heritage wheat more digestible.

    Haven’t made 100% whole wheat loaf yet, but I add 10% to 20% of this whole-wheat to all my breads for added complexity. Make a noticeable difference.

    Great performance with my French sourdough bread (high hydration). Was surprised at fineness of flour. Combined quickly with your white flour to create dough. Finished loaves have great taste, crust and crumb.
